Family Fridays, takes place all summer June 20th-August 29th. It is a chance for families to hang out together in the park, do art, have fun and be creative.
It is ironic that the idea of Family Friday came about as a response to a shooting in the neighborhood four years ago. The community did not want people to feel like they needed to hide in their homes but to confront fear with love. The park and the community belong to the families!
